Welcome to Our Physical Therapy Clinic

Tri-City Physical Therapy was opened in 1999 by Francois Auray in a small office on Pinhook Road near its intersection with Verot School Road. The clinic was moved to its current location on Doucet Road on July 1st of 2000. Andre’ Guerin (graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in August of 1999) came on as a staff physical therapist in May of 2000 and became a principal shortly after. Paul Kreamer (Master of Physical Therapy from LSUHSC in New Orleans in August of 1998) did the same in 2002. Mr. Auray moved back to his hometown of Sherbrooke, Quebec in 2004, leaving Andre’ and Paul as the only licensed PT’s. In June of 2012, Nick Cart joined the team after graduating from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.

Over the next couple of years, Tri-City Physical Therapy began to grow and expand with an increased service to patients. To accommodate the larger patient load, a second location was opened in June 2019 on the corner of Johnston Street and W. Broussard Road in an effort to better serve our patients in the expanding areas of south Lafayette. Nick moved from the Doucet Road location to lead the Johnston Street clinic location. Emma Granger (a graduate of the University of St. Augustine’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program) joined the team in September 2019.

Peyton Matherne (who holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine in Austin) began working with Tri-City in September of 2024. As our patient load continued to increase, Candance Smith, DPT, COMT, was hired in May 2025. In July 2025, Ashton Blanchard (Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in 2021) was hired to join the Doucet clinic team.

Along with our licensed Physical Therapists, we also have two Physical Therapist Assistants who work closely with our physical therapists to provide exceptional care for our patients. Jena Courville, PTA, ATC, joined our Doucet Road clinic in August of 2020 and in April 2025, Julie Speight, PTA, was brought on to join our Johnston Street location.
