Our Dedicated Team & Therapists

Tri-City Physical Therapy was opened in 1999 by Francois Auray in a small office on Pinhook Road near its intersection with Verot School Road. The name “Tri-City” comes from the original location, as we serviced the Broussard, Youngsville, and Lafayette areas with both outpatient and home health physical therapy. The clinic was moved to its current location on Doucet Road on July 1st of 2000. Square footage was added in early 2002 and again in 2016 that brought the space to it’s current dimensions of 3100 sq feet. Andre’ Guerin (graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport in August of 1999) came on as a staff physical therapist in May of 2000 and became a principal shortly after. Paul Kreamer (Master of Physical Therapy from LSUHSC in New Orleans in August of 1998) did the same in mid 2002. Mr. Auray moved back to his home town of Sherbrooke, Quebec in 2004, leaving Paul and Andre’ as the only licensed PT’s. In June of 2012, Nick Cart joined the team after graduating from LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. Trent Brasseaux (who holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Ceter in Shreveport) began working with Tri-City in November of 2017.

Over the next couple of years, Tri-City Physical Therapy began to grow and expand with an increased service to patients. To accommodate the larger patient load, a second location was opened in June 2019 on the corner of Johnston Street and W. Broussard Road in an effort to better serve our patients in the expanding areas of south Lafayette. Nick moved from the Doucet Road location to lead the Johnston Street clinic location. Shortly after, Emma Granger (a graduate of the University of St. Augustine’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program) joined the Doucet Road team as our fifth physical therapist in September 2019.

Zach Pitre (graduate of LSU Shreveport with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy) was hired to join our Johnston clinic team in August of 2020. In the summer of 2021, Tri-City expanded its services with the hiring of an athletic trainer, Brittany Doiron. Brittany (graduate of Nicholls State University with her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training followed by her Master of Science in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University) provides athletic training services for St. Thomas More High School athletics.
