Candace Smith is from Brandon, Mississippi. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Mississippi College and went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After graduation, she spent 11 years at NewSouth NeuroSpine in Flowood, where she developed a passion for helping patients with both chronic and acute back and neck pain. In 2018, she furthered her expertise by becoming a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist through Maitland Physiotherapy. Outside of her career, Candace enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan, and their three children—Eli, Ava, and Luke. She also loves traveling, photography, and all things family.
